This would actually be an incredible gimmick, where Pokemon can be blessed by a legendary Pokemon and recieve their power temporarily (functionally it’s identical to Mega Evolution, you get the Pokemon’s Blessing as an item and can give it to a Pokemon, and once per battle any one Pokemon can tap into that legendary’s power, granting them extra stat boosts/changes, type changes, maybe even transforming some moves into new mces exclusive to these forms)
This is a very interesting concept. Like l can see there being an item called a “shard of power” that you can get around the map. Only pokemon of a similar typing or egg type can use these and go into a sort of “proxy form”. I imagine the back story being that legendary pokemon were becoming so powerful that these shards started dropping off them. Pokemon who were compatible came into contact with those shards and gained a proxy form/evolution which gives them different abilities/typing and can be toggled.
I remember Lockstin actually kinda played with this idea a bit in the lore surrounding the main Legendaries of his fanmade Pokemon region Kaskade. Manadza and Arctikull each blessed a Chewmunk with their power to serve as their scouts, thus becoming Tamunk and Temunk.
This would actually be a really cool game mechanic. Similar to mega evolutions. You’d need to meet certain requirements to pull it off. So you would need to have a legendary pokemon and then have it’s compatible avatar. The legendary pokemon would transfer its power to the avatar but in the process of doing so, the legendary pokemon faints. However, the new legendary avatar would gain a significant stat boost, type change, and change in appearance, as well as new ability. This would make for a really unique battle between opponents.
Why are all of the fan’s ideas and designs better than the official games ever could? I can’t even pick a favorite: they’re all incredible, and this would be such an actually awesome gimmick for a new game. Especially if they finally made another game with multiple regions.

Haxorus looks like a sick af future paradox form, genuinely more creative design than most of the other future paradox pokemon.
