So much money spent on this adventure just to spend half the time looking at my loading screen .. a huge letdown but I still tried to make the most of it. I’m still in Las Vegas and not under 10 feet of snow back home 🤣

Sorry that you all got so royally screwed down there. I appreciate your candid commentary as well as your outlook on trying to make the best of the situation in the face of adversity. Glad you at least got to connect with some people, hope you’re able to get some rest for tomorrow, and wish you all better luck with the servers/cell towers tomorrow.
Your a great guy PokeAK you make me laugh when I’m down at times some events are good and some are bad. You just have to hope for the best and not let the worse happen in our lives.
So glad I never paid for a flight to vegas given Niantic’s track record with in person local events.
I can confirm this was the experience for myself as well. Instead of these location specific events, they should just continue the global event. That way everyone can enjoy in their own city. I created a private lobby and invited 2 friends, switched it the lobby to public, but then no one was able to get in. So even when you can invite friends, you can’t even have other trainers help. The lobbies were filling up to fast for any invites to go through
Niantic says that the issues were caused by all the “non ticket holders”… If only there was some way Niantic could stop the people not physically there.. if only they could stop the people cheating in the game and spoofing their locations…… 🤔🤔😂
Go out and party and have fun PokeAK you deserve it great video I hope day 2 is better for everyone in Las Vegas and for those of us who are only doing the global Hoenn tour maybe it will be better but aside from that have fun and enjoy
Poke I’m so grateful to you for what you do. Some of these Pokémon go “influencers” try having our pants down with these events and we don’t get an accurate view of things. I was waiting for any event in the UK to take my daughter to and after this I don’t think I’m going to waste my time and money on it now. Thank you for being a real one!
Totally agree. And to add another note, if you’re coming directly from any of the Caribbean Isles, its even more expensive just for the travel and accommodations.

The horrific nightmare of Go Fest 2022 sealed the deal with me and their “events”. 2021 Go Fest was brilliant and epic, 2022 Go fest felt like the store brand that was already stale. NEVER AGAIN!

Thank you for posting the truth about this event! My first big in-person event…flights in and out, add-one, all of it. What a joke. I seriously felt my desire to play this game after the event draining from me. So over it. Niantic has lost me worse than Silph did.

At first, I thought I would be missing out since they never said if the global event was increased shiny odds. Now, I’m relieved. I’m not evil but it’s good to know I’m not missing out at all. If anything, I’m more concerned that the global event will also end up like this as well…
I’m starting to be convinced that the more you pay for an event, the worse it gets. I’m just basing it off of last year’s tour and gofest. Rates are lower, and they got more glitches.
I stopped playing this game a while ago because all the bugs. But still watch your videos sometimes
I sure as heck hope Niantic fixes these issues before next weekend !!! Or they might have a whirlwind of backlash and players going FTP again….hit them where it counts !!! 🤣🤣🤣
