Damn I used to be annoyed at Hop for being a weakling and sending out his pathetic Wooloo but this short made me emotional lol I’m sorry Hop
Imagine being Hop’s Wooloo, yet to understand that your life is going to become a cycle of getting destroyed by his neighbor. What a nightmare.
Also, Milo sees a pokemon scream and writhe in his hands at the mention of going home and just sends it up in a taxi with no followup like “I did a good thing.”

This is literally the last thing I imagined Hop to sound like, but Wooloo is perfect so I’m going to let it slide.

I just realized that this series is called “twilight wings” and the two characters that are consistently in every episode are the Corviknight and Corviknight taxi guy.
Maybe this series is about them and how they are a “part” of all these adventures? Still not sure though.

Let the record show that this was the episode that made me realize the nameless flying taxi driver and his Crovoknight are actually the protagonists of this series, and thus the title of the series finally makes sense.
I love how they keep finding ways to make us feel bad for crushing Hop’s hopes and dreams.

Hop actually sounds a lot like what I imagined him to sound like. Milo on the hand, his voice is waaaay deeper than I thought!
Look at that – an animation style where the faces stay as one shape, and everyone adores it.
Now, either get rid of Ash Ketchum’s pre-pubescent face, or get rid of him entirely.

This series is so cute omg. It is weird now knowing for sure that everyone has an American accent when in game they all clearly talk like UK folks judging by the vocabulary. The voice acting is sweet though. I really am curious how Marnie is going to sound since she REALLY talks like an English woman in game.

you know, despite how dumb Hop is in the games, he’s still the most wholesome rival (sorry Bianca).

Wooloo just so happens to be the most relatable character thanks to being just so sick and tired of Charizard.
